Antique Italian Gilt Wood Finials Catalogue: Antiques: Decorative Art: Organics: Wood: Pre 1900   item# 969850 (stock# #147)  click for details My French Chateau sold, Merci!  Two very special Carved Wood Gilt Finials from Italy. Purchased recently from a dealer south of Paris. Both have chipped gilt, but a lovely patina. The shorter measures 4 1/8" long while the longer one measures 6 3/8" long.

These Antique Gilt Carved wood Finials from Italy. Circa late 1800's. The Pinecone design measures 5 5/8" not including peg. Gilt has some chipping and the cone itself is not gilted but left natural. The Orb is also 5 5/8" not including peg. Some gilt chipping, and a lovely patina.
