Remarkable antique Apothecary Jars from France. I hand carried these jars back on the airplane with me last week from Paris. Good looking jars are hard to find...especially ones this large and in this rare pink glass! The tops are light metal in a green color, the glass is a deep pink, and the labels are gold and black. Measurements: Be sure to take a look at all of the photos of these very special jars! The tops and the labels show some wear, while the glass has no cracks nor chips.

When I was last in France, I visited an Italian dealers who had a box of assorted odd fragments. In this box I found these two fabulous pieces! One is a gilt & paint finial (part of the drapery hardware). It's all wood, measures 6 3/8" long not including the peg. $95. The other is a floral fragment possibly from a wall panel or part of a furniture ornament. Gilt on wood, measures: 9 1/2" x 5" wide. $175. Both would date to the late 1800's.

A splendid French Stool with Inlay and padded seat. The tall stool measures 21 1/2" tall and has a lightly padded fabric seat that is oval and measures 19" x 14 3/4". In very nice condition, sturdy and easy to sit on. Please see additional photos for a look at the lovely inlay work on the sides. Graceful tapered Louis XVI legs. A lovely addition to your bedroom or living room. Circa early 1920's.
