Recently purchased from an art dealer in Paris. Tres handsome! On the back it is written Gower Farm. Very intense colors, reminds me of an afternoon where the sun is still shining, but there's a storm brewing. This is it's original frame, but it really doesn't do it justice. Tres magnifique! These beautiful Gilt Wood Carved Finials from France! Circa late 1800's. A lot of the gilting has chipped off over the years, but it does not distract from the overall beauty of these wood finals. I personal prefer it with chipping.

All just ever so slightly different, the 5 large ones measure approximately 5 3/4" long, while the little one measures 2 1/2" long.

Sold, Merci!

Exceptional! This pair of greyhound Iron Fire Dogs! While they can certainly be used in your fireplace, as the arms are still attached, most of my clients have them made into lamps! They are very handsome, a lovely patina, a mix of paint and rust. But will last for centuries! Measures 5 3/4" wide x 7 7/8" wide. From France, late 1800's.
