European design in the famous half shades so popular in Europe but very hard to find in the United States. These are hand made by a little Italian lady in Venice. Vintage Burgundy and Gold Fortuny Fabric trimmed in matching velvet. Each measures 4 7/8" tall x 4 5/8" wide. A Decorator's Dream ..a show stopper in your Home!

Again, wandering the tiny streets and allies of Venice, I came across a minute workroom where a lady and her daughter work 10 hours a day hand making the most remarkable European lampshades! These are the beautiful half shades that you rare see in the States, but are in the finest of houses in Europe. Each shade is made of fine cotton, damasks, and brocades.
