What fun! This vintage Tray with old Cigar Bands! Black oval frame measuring 17" x 13" has tiny little brass feet, and glass that protects this collection of cigar bands. Colorful and wonderfully preserved under glass. A perfect serving tray for brandy glasses! Lovely in a study or library!

Lovely Vintage Hand Painted Papier Mache Tray. Recently purchased in southern England. I must admit, when I first saw this tray, I thought it was a lovely tole piece. Upon further inspection, I realized it was Papier Mache. The dealer confirmed it. It is so lovely painted and heavy lacquered. In very nice condition. So charming!
Green and whites leaves, lemons and red cherries on a black background.
Circa 1930-40's.

A great accessory for your home - a Vintage French Wine Hotte...used by the grape pickers in the vineyard. These I have listed here are the real thing, not a reproduction! Many years of use, but still in great condition! This hotte is 32 1/2" tall x 28 1/2" wide x 19 1/2" deep. Lean it up again a wall and add straw, pumpkins and pinecones for a great holiday decoration! We use ours for firewood next to the fireplace. A handsome Vintage French Hotte! Well used and ready for more! Now, you may not want to use it to pick grapes, but you may consider it to hold wood by the fire, an interesting ice bucket, or decoration by the door to hold umbrellas! These containers, Hottes, have the original back straps. This one as you can see was painted Black. Measures: 32" tall x 27" wide x 15 1/2" deep. Needs a bit of help to stand up on it's own. A great conversation piece!

A wonderful Vintage Grape Pickers Hotte, or backpack. Yes, these metal containers were strapped on a grape pickers back, much like our back packs today. The picker would cut the cluster of grapes and toss them over his back into the container. Use it for display or an over grown ice bucket or to store wood. This one still stands tall, but shows more wear and charm than the others. Measures: 29 1/2" tall x 24" wide x 13" deep. Has it's original straps!
