This is truly one of the most remarkable Black Forest Inkwells I have ever had the fortune to buy! Deep rich brown in color. Carved leaf design for the base. Bird Ornament with spread wings decorated the hinged box for stamps, clips etc. Two little coordinating, but not matching glass ink pots with carved matching wood tops. Measures: 10 1/2" x 7". Circa late 1800's. Please see enlargements for a closer look.

Trees in France. A Lovely Vintage French Landscapes that just begs for you to take a walk down it's path! Purchased in Paris from an art dealer. Circa 1940's. Measures 23 7/8" x 17". Perfect for any wall, any room of your own Chateau! In excellent condition except for a tiny hole at the top center where someone actually hung it. With a frame, the hole would not even be noticed!

So Lovely! This pair of French Landscapes reminds me of the South of France. Painted by same artist and framed (original) to be hung together. Both signed L. Husson. Approximate date estimated to be very early 1900's. In excellent condition. Each framed painting measures 11" x 8 5/8".
