Just in from my last trunk arriving from France are these wonderful tea towels. I have been asked so much to find them for my customers and I finally found these sets at a market south of Paris. This dealer had the best selection and the most reasonable prices. The French dealers have gotten wise to American buyers and realize how much we love these old torchons. So they are marking their prices accordingly and it's hard to find them at a good price!

This set of 4 dates back to the mid 1940's. The colors are red, green,pink,aqua,mustard and blue stripes on a natural grayish linen color. Very pretty! They measure a most generous 30 3/4" long x 20 1/4" wide. Because of their age there is a few wear spots and slight staining. They have been cleaned and pressed nicely. But the aging spots only adds character and charm. Very sturdy, and will probably outlast us all!
