A Stunningly beautiful Black Forest Deer Head Barometer & Thermometer! Circa 1880's. The carved wood casing is lovely! The deer head has only a minor piece of antler missing (see enlargements). The Mercury Thermometer seems to work, but the Barometer appears to be stuck. Glass is intact. Casing is sound and sturdy! Measurements: 19 1/2" tall x 9" at widest point. |
