A Handsome Vintage French Faux Bamboo Miniature Armoire! These Miniature Faux Bamboo pieces are so highly collectible, most don't even make it to the website as collectors buy them sight unseen before they arrive! Made generally during the later part of the 1800's to mid 1900's. Some were made for dolls that little French girls would play with in their rooms. While others were used as cabinetmakers samples for the large pieces that could be commissioned to make. While even others were made by apprentices to cabinetmakers. This one is a finer piece and suspected to perhaps be a sample piece. It's in very nice condition. One door with it's original mirror and one drawer. Measures a grand 13 1/2" tall x 9 3/8" wide x 4 1/8" deep. Let us help your new collection! |
