| A Lovely Vintage English Landscape. This little jewel of a painting has been hiding for years in someone's closet! When I bought it, it was in this frame, but under glass. I felt it must be a pastel. But in removing the glass to clean, I found it was an oil! Such a surprise, it needs to breath, so I left the glass out and just slipped it back into it's frame. Such a cool scene, perhaps the artist felt the slight chill in the air and portrayed it with the pastel colors. It's certainly bound to cool the viewer on a hot summer day!Circa 1930's.
